個人情報処理方針
Since our constitutional law assures the basic right of nation, confidentiality of privacy, freedom and confidentiality of communication, furtively searching personal information & privacy by eavesdropping/monitoring is illegal in principle. However, human right is seriously infringed by illegal eavesdropping omnipresent in our society and leakage of information on the communication and free life of nation is threatened.
The following policy on the protection of personal information is declared to strictly protect privacy of members of Nanoionics Korea Co., Ltd. and to assure the freedom of communication in informatized society by fundamentally eliminating the possibility of such infringement of basic right. The policy on the protection of personal information of Nanoionics Korea Co., Ltd. may vary depending on alteration of government law and guideline and that of policy of Nanoionics Korea Co., Ltd. Members are solicited to check whenever visiting the site of Nanoionics Korea Co., Ltd.
1.Purpose to collect personal information and the use thereof
The purpose to collect personal information of members of Nanoionics Korea Co., Ltd. is to provide members with the optimum customized service through site of Nanoionics Korea Co., Ltd. Nanoionics Korea Co., Ltd. is providing diverse free and charged contents. Then, more useful information can be optionally provided to members based on the personal information submitted by them.
Nanoionics Korea Co., Ltd. posts advertisement to provide diverse services. Then, advertisement valued as more useful information can be also selectively delivered based on the information on members.
2.Items of collected personal information and collection method
For the first member affiliation, Nanoionics Korea Co., Ltd. receive the most indispensable personal information to provide service. The information submitted for member affiliation is member’s name, gender, date of birth, zip code, etc.
Besides, additional information is requested so as to provide specific service.
It is requested to indicate mobile phone number to confirm real name and additional information necessary to provide other service. Further, personal information may be requested for collective statistical analysis for questionnaire or event or sending giveaway. Needless to say, the submitted information is not used for any other purposes except providing the relevant service or purposes advised to members in advance.
3. Possession and destruction of personal information
While you are receiving service provided by Nanoionics Korea Co., Ltd. as a member of Nanoionics Korea Co., Ltd., your personal information is kept and used by Nanoionics Korea Co., Ltd. to provide service. Provided if members of Nanoionics Korea Co., Ltd. delete ID by procedure explained in the following '7 Inspection, correction or deletion of personal information' or request for cancellation of affiliation or the purpose for which personal information is submitted as advised to members in advance is attained, the collected personal information is completely deleted in the hard disk by irrecoverable method and disposed to prevent any inspection or use for any objective.
4. Providing and sharing personal information
The personal information of members of Nanoionics Korea Co., Ltd. is not disclosed to others, other company or institution in principle, except the case where members agree with disclosure or it is rationally judged that personal information should be disclosed to take legal action against those who breach the contract of using service of Nanoionics Korea Co., Ltd. or those who cause legal damage to others by using service of Nanoionics Korea Co., Ltd. or those who mar good morals.
Nanoionics Korea Co., Ltd. may share members’ personal information with business partner to provide better service. Before collecting or submitting information, members will be advised, i.e., who is the business partner, which information is necessary for what purpose, how and until when the information is protected/managed. Such prior advice is followed by procedure in which members are requested to agree. Unless members agree, no additional information is collected or shared with business partner.
Even when posting or sending advertisement on specific gender, age or other condition (ex, women in 20s’), members’ personal information is not provided to individual or group sponsor. If necessary for other statistical management, academic research or market survey, information is provided only in the form in which no specific person can be identified.
5. Operation and utilization of cookie
Nanoionics Korea Co., Ltd. uses cookie which saves and calls members’ information from time to time in order to provide members with personalized and customized service. As small data package sent to users’ browser by server which is used to operate website, cookie is saved in members’ computer hard disk.
To log-in and use personalized & customized service after connecting to Nanoionics Korea Co., Ltd., members are required to allow cookie. Nanoionics Korea Co., Ltd. seeks information on members’ ID by using cookie to provide members with proper and more useful service.
Nanoionics Korea Co., Ltd. grasps members or non-members’ frequency in using site of Nanoionics Korea Co., Ltd. or scale of users, e.g., total number of users, etc by giving proper cookie to the browser of users who connect to site of Nanoionics Korea Co., Ltd. 6. Technical/systematic management to protect personal information
Members’ personal information is protected by password, which is known to each member only. Personal information can be checked or altered only by member who knows password. Thus, member’s password should not be known to anybody. Further, it is desirable to log-out and terminate web browser after finishing work. This procedure is more required to prevent personal information from being disclosed to others especially when computer is commonly used with others or it is used in public place.
Nanoionics Korea Co., Ltd. is taking action to prevent the damage caused by computer virus by using vaccine program, which is periodically updated. When virus suddenly emerges, vaccine is provided immediately after it is released to prevent personal information from being damaged.
Nanoionics Korea Co., Ltd. blocks external attack, hacking, etc by using device which shuts off external invasion to prevent members’ personal information from being leaked by hacking, etc. As invasion detection system is installed in each server, invasion is monitored 24 hours a day. System and data are backed up to cope with damage of members’ personal information.
Minimizing the number of persons handling personal information, Nanoionics Korea Co., Ltd. emphasizes the observance of this policy by training persons in charge from time to time. If problem is found when checking whether this policy is fulfilled and observed by persons in charge through audit taken by audit committee, corrective action is taken forthwith.
7.Inspection, correction and deletion of own personal information
Members may inspect or correct their registered personal information or request for ID deletion anytime.
Any complaint or opinion on personal information may be sent to the person in charge of personal information by e-mail(ni@nanoionics.co.kr) for prompt action and outcome.
8.Protection of children's personal information
Children below 14 years old in full are not allowed to disclose their personal information to others without parents’ permission.
Members are responsible for keeping confidentiality of their password for their account. Since Nanoionics Korea Co., Ltd. never asks members password by mail or any other method, never disclose it to anybody. Please pay special attention not to leak it to others during the state of log-on.
